Services

At COL Du Peuch Training Camps we are not only focused on educating you on your bike but also off it. That is why as part of your training camp experience we will be running group sessions to further your knowledge in a number of areas:

Functional Training Sessions

Our functional training seminars will guide you through a program to optimise your quad, glute, hamstring and core muscles recruitment to enhance your power and efficiency on the bike.

The training sessions will guide you through a cycling specific training plan that you can add to your cycling routine to enhance your time on the bike whilst also reducing the risk of injury.

Stretch Clinic and Massage

At COL Training Camps we are focused on running cycling specific stretch clinics and massage sessions. They will form an integral element of your 'off bike' recovery and enable you to get back onto your bike feeling refreshed and invigorated for your next ride

Lactate Threshold Testing

Knowing your blood lactate levels is one of the key contributing performance factors that will not only improve your enjoyment on your bike but also make you a better rider.

During your camp you will be given a detailed lactate threshold assessment.  From the data collected we will plot your training zones/recovery rates relating to heart rate and power (watts), Maximal Lactate Steady State point and your threshold point.

The results gained from this test will enable you to train smarter, ride with your body (rather than against it) and perform optimally in any ride situation.  It will also help us guide you to a group that matches your ability.  Lets face it, no one likes being in a group that is too fast.

Great Food

Our chef will be on hand to make sure all your nutritional requirements are met and you enjoy the freshest ingredients prepared to the highest standard. The chef will also hold open kitchen sessions so you can learn the skills necessary to prepare your own 'on bike' food and perfectly balanced recovery meals at home.

Gym and Swimming Pool

The gym at Col Du Peuch has been designed to enable us to teach you a program of functional exercises to improve your cycling performance. The equipment is the highest standard and most up to date functional training kit available. It will cater for all your needs and enable you to continue your performance journey.

Our swimming pool is the place to relax and unwind in calm and peaceful atmosphere. Open for you to use anytime. Whether it's a pre ride swim or to soak your weary legs after a big day in the saddle.
